First Seminar on International Financing Tools

The Consejería Cultural of the Embassy of Spain in The Hague organizes the first edition of the International Funding Seminar for Cultural and Creative Industries at the Spanish Center in The Hague.

The seminar International Funding Tools for Cultural and Creative Industries at the Spanish Center in The Hague will bring together experts from the European field to share knowledge and experiences on access to international funding and financing.

Ignasi Guardans, co-founder and CEO of Culture & Media Agency Europe, will open the conference with a presentation on the challenges and opportunities presented by the different types of European funds for the cultural sector. Next, Angel Rebollo, founder and CEO of ARPA – EU Affairs & Communications, will give a talk focused on strategies and cooperation with European institutions.

Marianne Poncelet, executive vice president of the Yehudi Menuhin International Foundation, will present several successful projects that have been awarded by Creative Europe and Erasmus+. José Cruz, an expert in European project management and implementation, will delve into funding opportunities for cultural industry entrepreneurs, offering a practical perspective on how to access available funds and manage cultural projects at the international level.

The seminar will be attended by some thirty participants from the Spanish and Dutch cultural spheres. In addition to being streamed, the event will conclude with a round table discussion and Q&A, allowing participants to raise their doubts and projects with the speakers for evaluation. The aim of this seminar is to support the development of innovative cultural initiatives and encourage collaboration between artists, institutions and companies from different countries to enrich our common cultural heritage.
