Cervantes Institute
Instituto Cervantes is a not-for-profit organization created by the Spanish government in 1991. Its mission is to promote the teaching of Spanish and the co-official languages of Spain, and to contribute to the advancement of the culture of Spain and the Spanish-speaking countries. Its headquarters in the Netherlands are located in Utrecht.

- Acción Cultural Española (A/CE)
Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) is an agency that orchestrates public support for the promotion of culture, both in Spain and overseas. Its aims include promoting Spain’s rich and plural artistic legacy and fostering the internationalisation of its most contemporary creative and culture sector.
- AECID – Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo
AECID is Spain’s Agency for International Development and Cooperation. It is the main management body for Spanish cooperation, which combats poverty and works for sustainable human development.
- ICEX – España Exportación e Inversiones
The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) is aimed at promoting international expansion for Spanish businesses to enhance competitiveness and attract foreign investment. ICEX offers programs for information, training, promotion, and support to facilitate internationalization efforts.
- Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación
Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, implements and assesses Spain’s foreign policy and development cooperation policy, following the Government’s guidelines and applying the principle of unity of external action.
- Ministerio de Cultura
The Ministry of Culture manages the Government’s policies on promoting and protecting Spanish historical heritage, state museums, arts, books, reading, literary creation, cinema, audiovisual activities, and libraries. It also promotes Spanish culture, cultural cooperation, and international cultural relations in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation.
